Van Gelder Enterprises, Inc. and Affiliated Divisions is a locally owned California Corporation founded by Bob Van Gelder on March 15, 1975. The Birds Away/Pigeons Away division was started in 1985. From its inception, quality work has been the key to serving our clients, while growing and refining the business...the quality shows in all aspects of each Division's operation.

• Birds Away/Pigeons Away specializes in Pest Bird Control — humanely solving pest bird problems and activity on any surface where birds may land (i.e. ledges, gutters, columns, etc).
  
  
• Industrial, Commercial and Residential structures are part of our completed projects roster which totals more than 5,600 pest bird-control jobs representing countless satisfied clients. An extensive reference list is available upon request.

• Guarantee. All work is guaranteed! We stand behind our products, installation and effective performance. After 29 years, we've been in business long enough to assure our clients that if the birds return to any area that we have treated which have not been disturbed by any building maintenance or repair activities — we'll be back to take care of the problem at no charge.
  
  
• Staff. Our roster of 25 employees includes 10 highly experienced, full time, long tenured field operations technicians using only quality materials to provide guaranteed pest bird protection.
  
  
• Licenses and Insurance. We maintain all the licenses required by the State of California, several of which require continuing education programs. Our company and clients are insured for $1,000,000 general liability, $1,000,000 excess/umbrella liability and $1,000,000 workers compensation.
